Serdang, 16 January 2024: YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia has officiated the Ai Untuk Rakyat Launch Ceremony at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural & Arts Center, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The event, which was attended by various layers of generations, is a government initiative program to empower people's awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) technology as well as efforts to bridge the digital divide between people of various backgrounds.
This independent online learning program can be accessed through https://ai.gov.my/ which has two components, namely :
AI Aware
- Define what Artificial Intelligence is
- Talk about Human Intelligence
- Helps distinguish between AI and non-AI machines, and debunks popular misconceptions about the technology.
AI Appreciate
- Describes different domains of AI, their impact on various industries
- Elaborate on the ethical principles of AI and responsible AI
Universiti Putra Malaysia takes the approach of ensuring that all UPM students implement this AI program. Monitoring measures are implemented at the highest level of UPM through the portal https://ai.upm.edu.my/. May the AI ​​Program for the people achieve its objectives and be empowered.
