Grid computing ia a collection of computer resources from multiple locations to perform a one or more work processes whereby it allows work processes to be performed collectively and by sharing network and processing resources. The grid computing facility at UPM is known as BIRUNI Grid which provides technical grid infrastructure  for research. The BIRUNI Grid team is also determined to improve the understanding and development of the local grid to ensure high usage in research.

Thd BIRUNI Grid team has established collaboration with the following institutions to improve and increase the usage of Grid Computing.
