Division of Application Operation

The Division of Application Operation is responsible in planning and managing operations or activities related  to operational of applications as well as management of the University's database systems.

 

Application Operation:

  1. manage and monitor the operations of application systems that are registered and handed over to the responsibilty of the section.
  2. administrate, monitor and provide technical support for UPM's application systems operation.
  3. provide consultancy on administration of application systems to users and system owners.
  4. ensure  data security management and disaster recovery plan of UPM's application systems are complied.
  5. support data preparation and information reporting of application systems that are relevant.
  6. support, monitor and analyse the effectiveness of the operations of UPM's application systems.

 

Database and Big Data :

  1. plan, manage and monitor operations of UPM's database systemmerancang, mengurus dan 
  2. administrate, monitor and provide technical support for UPM's database management system.
  3. provide consultancy on administration of design and database management system to users, developers and system owners
  4. coordinate and support the testing process, evaluation, implementation and handing over of application systems developed in-house or outsourced.
  5. ensure  data security management and disaster recovery plan of UPM's database management systems are complied.
  6. support data preparation and information reporting that are relevant.
  7. support, monitor and analyse the effectiveness of the operations of UPM's database management system.
