Beware of Email Phishing

  • Don't click on any links in the email asking for your personal information
  • Do not open file attachments of dubious or unknown source
  • Do not store or delete suspicious emails even from known sources

 

Password Tips

  • All users of the ICT system need to have their own User ID and password (password) and be responsible for it
  • Do not disclose passwords to anyone including pistem administrators
  • Change your password at least once every three (3) months
  • Users are advised to use the screen saver or log off when leaving the computer
  • Password must be at least eight (8) characters long with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters
  • For system administrators, passwords must be at least 12 characters long with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters

 

Data Leakage

  • Prevents data from being lost, destroyed, corrupted, unauthorized or otherwise unauthorized access
  • Guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, authenticity and availability (access) of authorized users

 

Identity Theft

How to protect yourself?

  • Do not post personal information to the website
  • Don't reply to unfamiliar emails
  • When conducting an online transaction, get to know your source
  • Read the privacy statement on the site carefully
  • Submit your resume only on known job sites
  • Always log out of your computer when not in use

 

Malware (antivirus)

  • Install antivirus software on your computer
  • Refrain from opening or executing any suspicious email
  • Check for data storage devices such as usb flash memory, memory stick and so on before using them
