The Motion Capture (Mocap) Studio at iDEC is equipped with high technology equipment and is being used to capture motion for the purpose of animation and scientific research.

iDEC offers a full-body motion capturing services with props.  The speciality of our Mocap system is that the display of visual motion with full textured 3D character can be seen in real time.  The Mocap data is easily exported to other 3D software such as 3DS Max, Maya, MotionBuilder, Lightwave and Cinema4D.

The Mocap Studio is equipped with 18 Arena:OptiTrack high-resolution cameras and the space area for capturing motion is  10’ X 10’ which is suitable for 2 person per session.
