Towards the digitization of public sector documents

UPM Serdang, 17 December 2021: In line with the Public Sector Digitization Strategic Plan (PSPSA) 2021-2025 outlines the strategic direction of the implementation of Public Sector digitization for a period of five years which will be a guide to Public Sector agencies to drive the Sustainable Digital Government agenda towards shaping digital society. The Infocomm Development Center (iDEC) took the initiative to invite the MAMPU team for a Digital Document Management System 2.0 sharing session. As an entity whose role is to look at the technical aspects of ICT, an explanation of the technicalities and ICT requirements involved has been shared. The Registrar's Office is the coordinator for Universiti Putra Malaysia who will coordinate and look at the aspects of file classification, training and implementation.

Importance of PSPSA 2021-2025

1. Support the Government's aspirations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 2030, Vision for Shared Prosperity 2030, the Malaysian Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL) and the 12th Malaysia Plan
2. Aligning the adoption of emerging technologies in line with the digital transformation of the Public Sector
3. Aligning agency digitization implementation strategy with Public Sector digitization agenda The Public Sector Digitization Strategic Plan (PSPSA) 2021-2025 outlines the strategic direction of Public Sector digitization implementation for a period of five years which will guide Public Sector agencies to drive the Sustainable Digital Government agenda towards forming a digital society.
