iDEC UPM Commercialization Committee

LAUNCH OF PORTAL AND SERVICE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MALAYSIA - UNIVERSITY FOR SOCIETY (EMBROIDERY)

Application services under the iDEC commercialization committee have been entrusted by the Academic Excellence Division, Department of Higher Education (JPT) in developing the Service Learning Portal and Management System Malaysia - University For Society (SULAM) for the purpose of providing a management and monitoring system as well as an announcement platform for any embroidery initiatives / projects. In addition, the development of this portal also aims to provide facilities and open more opportunities for communities, government agencies and industry to collaborate with the HEIs involved.

Four (4) staff from iDEC Application Development Division (BPA) led by Puan Huda Bt Khairuddin, Encik Ku ​​Haizal Bin Ku Halim, Encik Norhezrulsham Muhamad Nodin and Sharifah Harzatul Shima Syed Hardan were directly involved in the development of this project.

This portal was officially launched by the Minister of Higher Education, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, on 22 December 2020 (Tuesday), at Za'ba Hall, Ministry of Higher Education. The launch was also broadcast live on Malaysia Today (MHI) and FBLive TV3 (@ mhitv3).

The iDEC management would also like to express their sincere appreciation to all the staff involved in the development of this portal. The selection of iDEC as the team developer of this SULAM system portal, has indirectly made iDEC visibility by agencies outside UPM, especially in recognizing the credibility of the work of iDEC staff.
