27 September 2019, SMK Desa Serdang - PUTRA iDEC@Community Project through the iDEC and COMSA FSKTM Partner Club was successfully implemented at SMK Desa Serdang, Selangor on September 27, 2019. The Graduate School of Education known as UPM @ Village Serdang Digital Knowledge has provided space for iDEC to continue to contribute in the form of the transfer of ICT knowledge to the community and especially to school students in line with the concept from the University to the community that aims to engage students with iDEC as a whole.
This is in line with the transition to make the Center for Higher Education a strategic place in the implementation of community programs, especially in the face of the rapid expansion of ICT transformations.
According to the Director of the UPM InfoComm Development Center (iDEC), Prof. Madya Dr. Fatimah Sidi, a community-based idea initiative in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program through knowlwdge transfer involving 200 students with telegram, pitching, spelling bee and fun learning assignments.
With a positive impact on the implementation of the program, participants are more excited to continue their studies in IT.
