Election of Student Representative Council (MPP) UPM 2017

  

 

On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, the UPM Student Representative Council (SRC)  Polling Day was held at UPM and it involved the Serdang Kampus and the Bintulu Campus. A total of 3 polling zones (Serdang Campus) and 1 polling zone (Bintulu Campus) opened for polling process involving a total of 24,865 UPM students. The polling zone involves Dewan Putra of the 13th College, the Computer Laboratory of the  Faculty of Engineering and the Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for Serdang Campus while the UPMKB Conference Room was used as a polling zone for Bintulu campus.

The voting for the selection of SRC of UPM is conducted online using the e-UNDI System developed by IDEC. It is implemented in a computer network segment dedicated to this polling process to ensure data security and system integrity. The voting process started at 9.00 a.m. and ended at 4.30 p.m. The counting of votes and the announcement of the unofficial results was carried out shortly after the voting process.

The year 2017 is the 15th year, the eUNDI System is used as the engine for the voting process of UPM Student Representative Council Election. Beginning in 2002, the eUNDI system has undergone several transformation improvements in line with the changing of computer technology and programming. IDEC celebrated this 15th anniversary with a eUNDI montage prsentation at the beginning of the vote counting process.
