How to apply for Industrial Training in iDEC?

Application procedures - Send in the application letter, which include:

  1. the background of education (study program and institution);
  2. the latest cumulative grade point average (CGPA);
  3. the duration of Industrial Training required; and
  4. the scopes of Industrial Training that are being required or being offered.
The application letter should via the Practical Training Coordinator and be enclosed together with a CV/Resume.


What is the procedure for borrowing technical equipments in iDEC?

The management of iDEC will determine and decide whether the equipments to be borrowed:

  1. are permissible; or
  2. should be rented out.
Brief procedures for borrowing any iDEC equipments (that are permissable) are:
  1. applicants should fill in the application form 2 days before the actual usage of the equipments;
  2. a minimum of RM50.00 deposit is imposed for each equipment;
  3. the deposit will not be returned if the borrowed equipment is not returned on the agreed date as stipulated in the application form; and
  4. the equipment will be given a day before the actual date or a suitable time depends on the officer's in charge.
